ToggleMy Peanut Butter Love Story & the Creamiest Milkshake Recipe
I have a special treat to share with you: the Peanut Butter Milkshake. But first, let me take you on a little journey back to my childhood in Croatia.
Growing up in Croatia, peanut butter was something we didn’t have. It was an exotic treat that seemed to belong to a different world. That all changed when I was about 10 years old, and my Auntie M visited our cousins in New York. She came back with a jar of peanut butter and introduced us to the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I was instantly hooked! The combination of creamy peanut butter and sweet jelly was unlike anything I had ever tasted.
As time passed, peanut butter finally made its way to Croatian shelves, though it was never quite the same as the jars my cousins would bring from the USA. But that didn’t stop me from having my PB&J sandwiches as often as I could. Every year, I eagerly awaited a new jar of peanut butter when family visited from abroad—my love affair with this creamy delight never faded!
Now, living in Australia, peanut butter is easy to find, and I get to indulge in all sorts of recipes with it, like this delicious Peanut Butter Milkshake. It’s smooth, creamy, and satisfies any sweet craving with just a few simple ingredients. Plus, if you’re a peanut butter fan like me, you’re in for a real treat!
But if you’re looking for something a little lighter or more fruity, I’ve got you covered. You can try my Strawberry Banana Smoothie with Yogurt, Kiwi Banana Smoothie, or Peach-Nectarine Smoothie for a refreshing, delicious alternative.
Whichever you choose, I promise it’ll be a hit! Enjoy your Peanut Butter Milkshake or one of my fruity favorites!
Best,
Ana
